Reba Jean Mahue, 64, of Festus, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 27, 2025. She was born on Thursday, September 22, 1960, in St. Francois County, Missouri to the late Clarence Chester and Wilda Marie (Sullivan) Roux. Reba's enduring spirit and love for her family will be cherished by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Reba was preceded in death by a son in infancy, Henry Roux; sister, Barbara Ann Roux and great niece, Courtney Drennen.
Reba dedicated her working life to the food service industry. She was a familiar face at McDonald’s in Pevely and dedicated many years to serving in local nursing homes, touching the lives of countless individuals with her kindness and compassion. A member of the Catholic faith, Reba found fulfillment not only in her work but also in the simple joys of life. She had a passion for camping with her family at Lake Hannah, where cherished memories were created. She enjoyed canning pickles and making various jellies, sharing the fruits of her labor with those she loved. However, nothing brought her more joy than the time she spent with her family, particularly her beloved grandchildren.
Reba is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Charles DeWayne Mahue; daughter; Amy Losh; bonus daughters, Whitney Bree, Danyel Mankin-Skinner and Lachrisha Depew; grandchildren, Nick Galczynski, Andrew Voyles, Alyson Losh, Grace Geasland; siblings, Tina Jones and husband Donnie, Mark Roux and wife Nancy; in-laws, Charles Mahue and wife Ruth; brother-in-law, Kevin Mahue and wife Natasha; sister-in-law, Tina Rosener and husband Jay bonus grandchildren, Isaac Sansoucie, Jarod Sloan, Emma Delgado, Alisa Mcabee, MaCeighla DeRousse, Eli Price and Tim Menke; special niece, Dannielle Roux; nieces, Heather Gau, Samantha Roux, Katie Mahue, Mackenzie Mahue; nephews, Bobby Jones, Matt Rosener, Robby Rosener and Eric Mahue; great nieces, Emery and Amber; great nephews, Liam and Tyler along with other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 5, 2025, at C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. A Celebration of Life service will start at 6:00 pm. Memorials can be made in Reba’s memory to the American Diabetes Association.
