Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk, P.A.Larry Traynor, a beloved father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2025, at the age of 75. Born on January 28, 1950, in Virginia, Larry made his home in Baltimore, Maryland, where he dedicated his life to his family and spreading joy.
Larry was a loving husband to the late Claudia and Marie Traynor, whose memories he cherished throughout his life. He is survived by his daughters, Laura Goddard and her husband Lee, Heather Traynor, Jenn Traynor and her fiancé Kevin Cunningham, and Darla Mundy. His legacy lives on through his grandchildren: Andrew, Erin, Gracie, Hannah, Robert, Viola, Jayden, Jordan, Kali, Rayna, Carson, Jaxon, Josh, Claudia, and Trinity, as well as four wonderful great-grandchildren. Larry was a caring brother to Lee Traynor, Kenny Traynor, Jimmy Traynor, Linda Hessie, and Teresa Ernest, and he was preceded in death by his brother, Marty Traynor.
Larry's spirit shone bright in the simple joys of life. He loved shooting pool, fishing, cheering for the Redskins, and spending time outdoors in his shed, where he would listen to music and enjoy the company of family and friends. Known for his generosity and warmth, he adored feeding squirrels and sharing good times with those he loved.
A public viewing will be held at Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk, 7110 Sollers Point Road, on Saturday October 25, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, followed by a funeral service beginning at 4 PM. Family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate Larry's life, share heartfelt memories, and honor the profound impact he had on so many.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made the Breakthrough Type 1 Diabetes (Formerly JDRF)
Larry Traynor will be deeply missed, but his love and kindness will continue to resonate through all who had the privilege of knowing him.
