Larry Edward Troutman, age 81 of Garnet Valley, PA, passed away on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Naamans Creek Country Manor. Born and raised in Shamokin, PA, he had resided in Garnet Valley for the past 53 years. Larry was a graduate of Coal Township High School, Class of 1958, and attended Widener University. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force during the Cuban Missile Crisis. Devoted to his faith, Larry was a member of Siloam United Methodist Church. He worked as General Manager at Boeing, retiring after 35 years, and owned a contracting business. Larry has a passion for building furniture, and built most of the furniture in his home. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, William Edward and Grace Irene Wetzel Troutman. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Sandra Weimer Troutman, his two sons, Larry (Laura) Troutman and Jason Troutman, his two grandchildren, Paige and Sydney, and two sisters, RuthAnn Dreher and Linda (Mike) Dormer. Services and interment will remain private. Donation's in Larry's name may be made to Microvascular Dementia Research (dementiasociety.org) or to the Alzheimer's Association (act.alz.org).
