LARRY THOMAS WATSON
76, passed away peacefully at his home in Wichita, Kansas on March 23, 2023. He was born on February 23, 1947 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Robert Lynn Watson and Mable Watson both of Lonoke, Arkansas. He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Bobbie Lynn McKinley. He is survived by his loving wife, Connie Watson, of 54 years; three sons, Mark Watson (wife Jill) of Oklahoma, Keith Watson (wife Leslie) of Kansas, and Steven Watson (wife Kelley) of Missouri; siblings, Jerry Watson of Nevada, Marty Hirscheider (husband Glen) of Arkansas, and brother- in- law Larry McKinley of Wichita; 6 grand children and 1 great grandchild, 9 nieces and nephews. Larry and Connie spent most of their married life in Wichita, Kansas. For the majority of his career, Larry worked as a finance manager for Boeing Wichita Military. He was a Christian and a member of Believers Southern Baptist Church in Wichita. Larry enjoyed fishing, spending time with his family, relaxing at their home in the middle of the Arkansas Ozarks, and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday evening March 30, 2023 from 6:00pm -8:00pm. Funeral services will be Friday afternoon March 31, 2023 at 1:00pm. Both will be held at Believers Southern Baptist Church, 13909 West 21st Street North, Wichita, Kansas. Graveside service and burial will be 10:00am Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at the Lonoke Cemetery in Lonoke, Arkansas. Memorials may be designated in his memory to "Know Your Bible" at Northside Church of Christ, 4545 North Meridian Ave, Wichita, Kansas 67204.
