Larry Weaver Obituary
Larry was born on June 20th, 1942 in Winterset, IA, where he spent his formative years and graduated from Winterset High School. After high school, he served in the US Army. Upon his military completion, he would go on to work in Production Management for Seed and Grain Corporation and Atlas Corporation. Throughout his career, he was known for his dedication, hard work and problem-solving skills. Dad was always busy planning, building and fixing various projects throughout his life. He shared his skills in leather and wood working by providing family and friends with his latest creations. He had a special fondness for all of his dogs and loved sharing updates on their latest adventures.
Larry married Kay Weaver, and from their marriage they had three children, Mark (Carol), Lori Lower (Don) and John (Ashley), as well as seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Kay passed away in 2005. In 2010, Larry and Sheri Staley married and enjoyed nearly 15 years together.
