Larry Daniel Williams

Larry Daniel Williams, age 82, of Liberty, passed away on March 2, 2026, at Wesley Long Hospital.

Born on February 3, 1944, in Montgomery County, Larry was the son of Cecil Jackson Williams Sr. and Clara Martin Williams. He graduated from East Montgomery High School in 1962 and went on to proudly serve in the United States Air Force. Following his military service, Larry attended Appalachian State University, where he graduated in 1973. He committed his professional life to the banking sector, serving as bank manager at Fidelity Bank in Liberty until his retirement. He enjoyed playing golf, fishing, working in his vegetable garden and was an avid Duke fan.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Jack Williams.

He is survived by his wife Maidalee Jackson Williams of the home, daughter Amy Koenig (Chris) of Liberty, son Brad Williams (Jennifer) of Liberty, sisters Faye Martin of Winston Salem and Carol Stewart of Star. Grandchildren, Jackson (Taylor), Raegan, Georgia and Brody, as well as many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 6, 2026, at Biscoe Cemetery at 2:00 pm with Rev. Patrick Fuller officiating. Military Rites by Randolph Honor Guard.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Larry's memory to Biscoe Presbyterian Church PO Box 638, Biscoe, NC 27209.
