Mr. Larry Grant Wilson, age 73 of McMurray Circle, Toccoa passed away Friday, June 6, 2025 at his residence after a long extended illness.
A son of the late Grant Wilson and Viola Marcus Wilson Michaud, he was born August 8, 1951 in Stephens County, Georgia, having lived in Marietta, Georgia before moving back to Toccoa where he had lived most of his life. He was employed with the City of Toccoa and later with the City of Gainesville as a building inspector. He attended New Hope Baptist Church. He was an avid motorcyclist; exclusively Harley Davidson and loved wood working. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife of the home, Peggy Crisp Wilson; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jason and Brandie Wilson of Eastanollee and Jake and Brooke Wilson of Mt., Airy; grandchildren, Macie Wilson, Brayden Wilson, Harlee Roberts, Hadlee Wilson and Henlee Jo Wilson; sister, Janice Robertson of Toccoa; a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 10, 2025, 2 p.m. in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with Mrs. Linda Sisk officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Avery Myles Sisk, Preston Murray, Owen Murray, Marty Sisk, Brayden Wilson and Steve Crisp.
The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Tuesday from 12 p.m. until the service time. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.acree-davisfh.com.
Interment will follow in the Roselane Cemetery with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Larry Grant Wilson.
