Larry Thomas Wingard

Larry Wingard, 68, passed away on December 15, 2025, at his home in Bay Minette, Alabama. He was born on July 11, 1957, in Yonkers, New York, to Don and Ann Wingard.

Larry earned his associate's degree from the University of West Florida. He worked for many years with the NJROTC and the Department of Defense at NAS Pensacola. In January 2004 he married his life partner, Heather, and together they blended their families and shared a life full of love and laughter.

Known for his humor Larry always found a way to bring joy to those around him. He especially enjoyed hunting and fishing with his friend Warren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, David and Mike.

He is survived by his wife, Heather; sister, Linda; children, Matthew, Rachel, Hayley, Jake, Angela, Ian, and Andrew; several grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to Jen for her devoted care and to Andrew faithfully standing by his side until his passing-Coke Icees and all. The family is forever grateful for the care, compassion, and dedication Andrew gave so selflessly.

He will be greatly missed.
