Willie Pritchett, affectionately known as "Jake" and "Buddy," was born on March 27, 1958, in Coy, Alabama. He peacefully transitioned from this life on February 13, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, service, and unwavering faith.

Willie was raised in Pensacola, Florida, where he graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in 1976. He was a hardworking and dedicated man who spent many years serving others through his work. He was well known in the community as a popular and friendly presence at Ray's Soul City, where his personality and warmth left lasting impressions on many. He also faithfully worked at Baptist Hospital and First United Methodist Church as a custodian, taking pride in every task he was given.

A devoted man of faith, Willie served as an appointed Deacon at Trinity Missionary Baptist Church. His spiritual commitment and quiet strength were evident to all who knew him. Willie enjoyed watching Western shows, following sports and most of all, spending quality time with his family. His laughter, wisdom and presence will forever be cherished.

Willie leaves to cherish his memory: his loving daughter, Natasha Pritchett; three beloved grandchildren: Arielle Davis, Siniyah Tracy, and Ezell Davis.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dossie Mae Pritchett and Eugene Pritchett; and his siblings: Henry Nettles, Dorsey Nettles, David Nettles, Kathryn Spencer, Marshall Pritchett, Sr., and Kenneth Nettles.

He leaves to mourn his passing his surviving siblings: Josie (Horace) McCants, Herman Pritchett, Shirley Pritchett, Clara Mae Pritchett and Rodney (Toya) Pritchett. He also leaves his devoted godbrother and god sister, John and Mary Allen, along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends
