Norma Jeanette "Kelly" Davis

Norma Jeanette Kelley Davis (Jeanette Davis), born in Andalusia, Alabama, went to be with Jesus on Tuesday, January 27, 2026. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Davis, and her parents, Guy and Lula Kelley.

Jeanette was a secretary most of her adult life and retired from Sacred Heart Hospital in 2001 after 27 faithful years in the Emergency Room, Admissions and finally in Precertification.

Jeanette lived a life of service and devotion to her precious Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, teaching and serving for many years. Everyone who met her knew of her love of Jesus, and she made sure all of her children and grandchildren knew and accepted Jesus as their Savior. Walter Davis was in the Navy for 26 years, and Jeanette lived in many different places. She witnessed to people all over the United States, as well as East Anglia, England. She was a member of many different churches and served her Lord in every one of them. Her final home church was East Brent Baptist Church, where she spent many hours volunteering any where she was needed.

She is survived by her children, Jeanette Davis Goodrow (Eddie) and Regina Davis Fitzgerald and James Fitzgerald; her sister, Juanita Kelley Lovelace; her grandsons, Jeffrey Foster (Kristeen), James Fitzgerald (Angela), and Matthew Goodrow; her great-grandchildren, Mykall Foster-Lundy, Markus Foster-Lundy, Jeffrey Foster, Jr., Jacob Foster, Finley Bruno-Fitzgerald and Adeline Bruno-Fitzgerald; and nephew, Rexcil Larson.

A celebration of life will be held for Jeanette Davis on February 28, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Lakeview Baptist Church, 1100 West Michigan Avenue, Pensacola, Florida, with Brother, Dale Patterson officiating the service. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in memory of Jeanette Davis.
