Larry J. Wink

Larry J. Wink, 82, of Evansville, Indiana passed away September 8, 2020. Larry was born in 1937.
Larry attended Mechanic Arts School and Mater Dei High School, graduating in 1955. He served in the United States Army as an intermediate speed radio operator (Morse code) at Fort Gordon, Georgia. He was the owner and operator of Wink Heating and Air Conditioning. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, working on cars, and designing and building various electronics and tools. He loved to share his many stories, often emphasizing life lessons. He will be missed greatly and his influence continues to this day.

Larry is survived by his sister Rita Lurker; daughter, Ann (Matt) Wolbert; sons, Phillip (Lindsay) Wink and Brian (Lisa) Wink; grandchildren, Addison, Morgan, Cora and Colin; and Bonnie Wink, mother of Ann, Phillip and Brian.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Carl Wink, Ralph Wink, and Dorothy Perdue.

A private family service will be held. Arrangements are being handled by Ziemer Funeral Home Central Chapel, 626 N. First Ave., Evansville, IN 47710.
