Larry Wint Obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Larry Leon Wint, aged 80, who departed this life on November 13, 2025. Larry was born on May 14, 1945, in Independence, Kansas, where he spent his early years and later married the love of his life, Judy, on December 7, 1968, at the First Baptist Church in Independence.
An honorable veteran, Larry served in the United States Navy, enlisting on July 27, 1965. He earned the National Defense Service Medal in recognition of his commitment to his country.
Larry spent much of his professional life in the manufacturing industry, working for Boeing and Spirit AeroSystems, where he contributed to the aircraft sector with skill and dedication.
A devoted family man, Larry took great pride in his roles as a husband, father, and grandfather to eight wonderful grandchildren. He is survived by his beloved spouse, Judy Wint; their children, Michael Wint (Kelli Wint), Mark Wint (Melynda Wint), Matthew Wint, and Deanna Suter (John Suter). Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Merle Wint and Rena Wint.
Funeral services will be held on November 20, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Webb & Rodrick Chapel. The family invites all who knew and loved Larry to join them in honoring his life and legacy.
