Larry R. Woods

Larry R. Woods, age 89, of Sugar Hill, GA passed away on Friday, February 20, 2026. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Leah Woods. Mr. Woods is survived by his wife of seventy years, Shirley Ann Chapin Woods; children, Julie Ann (Gerald) McVicker of Hoschton, GA, Bradley (Sarah) Woods of Pueblo West, CO; Thomas (Amanda) Woods of Arvada, CO; six grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; sisters, Helen (Butch) Newbury of Colorado, Susan (Steve) Price of Colorado; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mr. Woods was born on May 12, 1936 in Rocky Ford, CO. He was a 1954 graduate of Burlington High School located in Burlington, CO and a 1963 graduate of Western State University where he received his Bachelor's Degree. Mr. Woods was a retired farmer and rancher. He was a member of Burlington United Methodist Church in Burlington, CO. Mr. Woods loved quarter horses, all sports and spending time with his family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. No services are planned at this time.
