Larry Paul Zentz, age 84, of Concordia, Kansas was born on February 12, 1940, in Beloit, Kansas to Paul & Sarah (Geisler) Zentz. He passed from this life on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at Sunset Nursing Home, Concordia, Kansas.
Larry worked at OCCK in Salina, Kansas
He was a member of the Cowboy Church in Concordia, Kansas.
Larry loved to play his harmonica by heart and memorizing the lyrics. He also greatly enjoyed his church family and listening to religious music.
He is survived by his sister, Audrey Houser, Concordia, KS; his nieces, Tressy Carter, Jackie Geisler, Kristy Studt, Lisa Davis, & Shasta LeDuc.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers Everett & Gary Zentz & a sister, Irene Peak, brother-in-law, Ray Houser, and nephew, John Ellis.
It was Larry's wish to be cremated, and a memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, Concordia, Kansas with Pastor Earl Hale officiating. The burial of the cremated remains will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Concordia, Kansas.
Visitation will be held from 9 am to 2 pm on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 prior to the service. Family will receive friends 1-2 pm.
