Ms. LaShaun Monique “Lucy or NeNe” Cade, the daughter of Amy Timmons McWhite and Herbert McFadden, was born on December 15, 1980 in Florence, South Carolina. LaShaun, at the age of 43, passed away at MUSC Health Florence Medical Center on Sunday, December 17, 2023.

LaShaun attended Florence Public Schools in Florence, South Carolina and graduated from South Florence High School Class of 1999 and attended Florence-Darlington Technical College in the Business Department.

LaShaun was a member of Church of Christ from an early age. She was a very faithful and active member who believed in God.

LaShaun was employed with Petro 20 years until her demise.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Eli Timmons and Irene Alexander Timmons; paternal grandparents, Queenie Josey and Curtis McFadden; an aunt, Eliza Timmons Smith; and two uncles, Thomas McFadden and Jerome McFadden.

Left to cherish her precious memories are a daughter, Jamaysha Rainey, whom she loved and adored so much; her mother and father, Amy McWhite and Herbert McFadden of Effingham, South Carolina; two sisters, Brittany (Terrance) Johnson of Effingham, South Carolina and Nicole Lawson of Pamplico, South Carolina; one brother, Laron (Marilyn) Cade of Locust Groove, Georgia;
one niece, Mica Johnson; two nephews, Terrance A. Johnson, Jr. and Ayden Johnson; 4 aunts; 6 uncles; 5 great uncles; 7 great aunts; 4 best friends, Kizzy McDuffie, Alonda Crittenden, Chante Hines and Shante Chester; a special friend, Tony Williams; and a host of other relatives and friends.
