Lathan Javelle Sweatt, Age 10, of Nashville, TN, born on August 9, 2012, and passed away on July 30, 2023.
He is survived by his mother, Uniquea Sweatt; father, Brandon Kiante' Moore; siblings, Jeremiah Sparrow, Keyannah Moore, Kiante' Sweatt, and Sytarria Moore; grandparents, Leslie Golston, Eileen Moore, and Daniel Fletcher; aunts, Katrina Golston, Danielle Moore, Dadreinne Sweatt, Dandra Sweatt, and Shafonda Jones; uncles, Jaque Sweatt Jr., Christopher Moore, LaChristopher Terry, Jeff Gyebi, and Daniel Jones; cousins, Christian, Nyjai, Adreinne, T.J., Alex, Reign, Kyree, Aliyah, Amiyah, Danyel A., and Daniel M. Jones.

Lathan was that child who had all the energy, all the excitement, and a light so bright. He loved being outside. He also loved playing board games like chess, playing basketball and video games. He was so smart with math being his favorite subject. He would say, "it just comes easy to me." Being an AB Honor Student, school was a breeze.
He came with the best facial expressions and the best hugs. Lathan brought so much life to the family.

Visitation will be at Phillips-Robinson Funeral Home, 2707 Gallatin Rd. in Nashville, on Tuesday, August 8, from 11am until the time of our service at 2pm, Pastor Kenneth Leavell officiating.
