Latorre Hector R. Polanco Obituary
Born on March 20, 1984, in the Bronx, New York, Hector was the beloved son to parents Otilio Polanco and Socorro Latorre. He lived his life with an open spirit, always embracing those around him with warmth, joy, and love. Hector had a deep love for his children, family, and the simple pleasures of life - especially being outdoors, cooking for those he cared about, and dancing with joy and energy that was uniquely his.
Hector is survived by his children Javian Polanco, and Elianise Polanco; brothers Otilio Polanco and Jose Ortiz, his cherished nephew, Terrance Sherard; and Carla Weil, a very special person whom Hector loved immensely. He was predeceased by his beloved sister, Leslie Polanco.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation in Hector's memory on Saturday, October 11, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Keenan Funeral Home, 238 Elm Street, West Haven, CT 06516.
Hector will be remembered for his generous heart, vibrant energy, and the lasting impact he had on everyone who had the honor of knowing him.
