LaToya Michelle Russell was born on August 29, 1974 in Chicago, Illinois to Lyndia and Fred Russell (deceased). She was their only child.
As a child, she and her mother moved to Cleveland, Ohio to reunite with family. Growing up on Melrose Avenue was full of fun and laughter. She accepted Christ at a young age and attended Cleveland and East Cleveland Public schools. Furthering her education, LaToya attended Cuyahoga Community College and then Dental school. With having had many employers, she touched a lot of lives.
LaToya met and married John Maclin and to this union two children were born. The family attended The Word Church and a lot of friends were made there. LaToya and Lamont Bell welcomed a son to their family, which was a blessing.
Most people called her Toya. Someone special called her "Mama T". There was plenty of joy and laughter when she was around. Her favorite thing to do was spending time with her children and grandchildren and cruises.
LaToya is survived by her husband John Maclin, daughters, Ashley Maclin, Pamela Maclin, son Tyler Bell, stepdaughter Brandi Maclin, stepson Branden Maclin, grandchildren, Santana, Alex and Aryanna, mother, Lyndia Russell, mother-in-law Paulette Maclin, loving brother, Mark Jackson (Marsatta), brothers, Franchot Russell, Fred Russell(Tracy), Ronald Childress(Juanita), Feldon Russell(Xaviera), Damain Russell(Jamila), Alfred Russell, sisters Lauren Tyler(Herman), Keela Russell. Mourning her is special friend Philip Prince. And host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Humble submitted, the Family
