Laura M. Baldwin, 70, of Brookfield, NY, passed away peacefully at home on October 6, 2025. Born on June 27, 1955, in New Berlin, NY, she was the daughter of the late Glade Baldwin Sr. and Carol (Denney) Baldwin.
Laura was known for her loving heart, gentle spirit, and the deep kindness she showed to everyone around her - she had a unique ability to make everyone feel cherished. She spent her time laughing, listening to music, and reminiscing with her beloved fiancé, Tom. Laura was well cared for daily by her long-time friend, Gloria Sprinkle. She adored frequent visits with her family and friends. Her home was always full of life, especially with her cherished houseplants, which flourished under her green thumb.
She is survived by her fiancé, Tom Muller; her daughters, Angela Laymon and Christa Case; her grandchildren Dalton, Dylan, Dawson, Erin, Eli, and Dustin; and her great-grandchild, Denver. She is also survived by her brother, Glade (Tresa) Baldwin II; her sisters, Sherri (Mark) Bice and Kelly (Wayne) Hilts; her aunts, Patricia Ostrander and Roseline Yager; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Laura was predeceased by her parents; her son, William Wyman; her daughter, Roxanne Case; and her sister, Debra Schermerhorn.
She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and warmth that will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Family and friends are invited to Calling Hours on Thursday October 16, 2025, at the Johnston & Stanimer Funeral Home, 10426 Church Street, Brookfield, NY 13314 from 12:00pm to 1:00pm with her Funeral to follow. Burial will then take place at Brookfield Rural Cemetery.
