Laura was born January 16, 1966 in Newark to Bob and Sue Pettit. She is survived by her loving husband of 29 years, Wade F. Bushee; parents, Bob and Sue Pettit; brother, Rob (Daniele) Pettit of Heath; nephew, Austin (Ashley) Pettit of Heath and their children Ayra & Ronan; niece, Kassidy Pettit and Brandon Clark of Newark.
Laura was a vibrant, kind, intelligent loving person. She had great faith as one of Jehovah's Witnesses and would regularly share her faith with those she met.
Laura lost her fight to Multiple Myeloma on October 4, 2025 full of faith, dignity and courage. She will be missed by all who knew her waiting for the resurrection of the dead Rev 21:3,4.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 4:00pm, Saturday, October 18 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness-Buckeye Lake, 2486 Walnut Road, Hebron.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Jehovah's Witness (jw.org)

Laura truly was such a sweetheart in many ways. Laura was my favorite babysitter, which one time was during the Granville/Newark Kingdom build. She will be truly missed for now while she rests. Just around the corner.
