Laura Casto Byrley departed this earth for her heavenly home on April 29, 2025. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rusty Byrley; parents, Charles and Anne Casto; nephew, Michael B. Desmond Jr.; and niece, Kaitlyn Elizabeth Desmond.
She is survived by her two sisters Candace C. Desmond [Michael Sr.] of Nathalie, Virginia and Melissa Casto of Dallas, Texas; two Nephews Benjamin C. Desmond of Halifax, Virginia and Timothy O. Desmond[Audrey] of South Boston, Virginia; niece Kayleigh D. Scott [Jasper] of Halifax, Virginia; close friend she called a sister Melinda Williams [John] and family of Lynchburg, Virginia; and the " MeMaw" of seven Great Nieces and Nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2;00pm, Wednesday, May 7th, 2025 at Big Island Cemetery 1329 Sunset Hill Rd., Big Island, Virginia. All family and friends are welcome.
