Laura Engelen Obituary
Laura Ruth Engelen 66 years old of Fitchburg, WI passed away unexpectedly on April 15th at her home. She was born in Rockford, IL on October 19, 1958, the daughter of the late Eugene and Lorraine (née Halsne) Engelen. Laura grew up in Park Ridge and graduated from Maine South in 1976. She attended Oakton Community College.
She is survived by her sisters Diane Ford, Janet Engelen, and Karen Looye; brother Mark Engelen; nephews and nieces Brian (Lori), Bradley (Lynn), Mike (Angela) Ford, Scott (Lexi), Kevin (fiancé Olivia) Looye, Melissa (Jon) Monge and Kelly (Andrew) Jacobson; and great nephews and nieces Caleb, Kennedy & Kathryn Monge, Elliot, Nolan, Camryn, Logan, Huck & Theo Ford, and Ellie Jacobson; and many cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers-in-law, Robert Ford and Eric Looye.
Interment will be held privately at Ridgewood Memorial Park.
