WATERBURY- It is with profound sadness that the family of Laura Mae (Swan) Hadder, age 103, of Waterbury, share the news of her peaceful passing on Thursday, May 22, 2025, surrounded by her loving family in the comfort of her own home.

Laura was born on May 1, 1922, in Waterbury. She devoted her life to her family as a loving homemaker. She lived her life as a testament to determination and enthusiasm—a true go-getter who knew what she wanted out of life and pursued it fearlessly. She was an active member of the First Congregational Church in Waterbury, she enjoyed going on cruises and going to the Riverside Raceway. She loved nothing more than spending time with her loving family, especially her grandkids. Laura lived a life as bold and vibrant as her spirit, and she leaves behind a legacy of love and unforgettable memories. Her long and beautiful life was a rich tapestry of accomplishments centered around her love of family. Rest in peace now in the welcoming arms of your Lord and Savior.

Left to cherish and honor her memories are her children; Robert Hadder Sr and his son Robert Jadder Jr. of Waterbury and Frank L. Hadder of Waterbury. She also leaves behind many other extended family members and friends.

All services for Ms. Hadder will be held privately at the convenience of her family. Loving kindness is always welcome, and it only takes a moment to offer a message of condolence or words of comfort or share a memory of someone important to you with your family and friends.
