Laura Carolyn "Patsy" Napier, a cherished member of her community, was born on April 18, 1943, in Perry County, Kentucky. She departed this life on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at the Mary Breckinridge-ARH Hospital in Hyden, Kentucky. She was 82 years old.
Patsy's spirit was shaped by her warm and nurturing upbringing, and she dedicated her life to her family. She is survived by her beloved son, Joe Napier, who carries forward her values and compassion. Additionally, she is lovingly remembered by her three sisters, Mechalene Roberts, Sue Osborne, and Polly Jean Napier. Patsy also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews who will forever treasure the memories they created together.
Patsy had a passion for traveling and exploring new horizons, which enriched her life and introduced her to diverse cultures and experiences. She equally enjoyed the simple pleasures of working at home, where she found joy and fulfillment in her daily activities.
Patsy was preceded in death by her devoted parents, Cleon Napier and Jessie Jones Napier, who instilled in her the strength and love she shared with others. She was also preceded by her six brothers and two sisters, who are surely welcoming her with open arms.
Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Laura Carolyn "Patsy" Napier will be deeply missed but fondly remembered.
Funeral: Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, Kentucky

Interment: Sizemore-Napier Cemetery (Dryhill Road) Hyden, Kentucky

Visitation: Wednesday, Nov. 19th at 12:00 Noon at the Funeral Home
