Laura Beth Stinson Rector, 46, of Bowling Green, KY passed away Thursday, December 18, 2025 at her residence. The Bowling Green, KY native was a MSD teacher at Allen County-Scottsville High School since 2002, a Special Olympics coach, a member of Beech Grove General Baptist Church where she served as VBS director, Sunday school teacher and all around volunteer and enjoyed crafting during her spare time.

She is survived by her husband: Craig Rector, Bowling Green, KY;

1 son: Caelan Fox, FL;

2 daughters: Ella Rector and Ali Fox, both of Bowling Green, KY;

Her parents: Terry and Teretha Stinson, Scottsville, KY;

Her maternal grandmother: Dorothy Buckley, Scottsville, KY;

1 sister: Crystal Holland and husband, Shawn, Scottsville, KY;

1 half brother: Allen Stinson and wife, Shannon, Scottsville, KY;

Her father-in-law and mother-in-law: Winfred and Debbie Rector, Bowling Green, KY;

Nieces and Nephews: Alura Grace Keith, Autumn Elizabeth Keith, Brayden Holland, Brody Holland, Annleigh Holland, Jordan Stinson, Brooke Stinson and Leia Stinson;

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather: Ray Buckley and paternal grandparents: Elvis "Slim" and Ruby Stinson.

Funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Pardue and Bro. Ryan Whiticker officiating and burial in Beech Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 1:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Monday and after 7:00 A.M. Tuesday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Allen County Special Olympics. Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
