Laura Lynn Roach

Laura Lynn Colson Roach, 71, of New Port Richey, Florida, passed away on January 21st, 2026.

Laura was a Mom, a Sister, a Nana, Aunt, and a friend too many.

Laura went home peacefully on Wednesday, January 21 st, 2026 with her family by her side

She is survived by her three children Roger Patterson, Gidget Benz, son-in-law Joe Benz, and Cory Patterson.

She has eight grandchildren, Codie Patterson, Stephanie Dunmire (Patterson), Desirae Patterson , Bridget Patterson, Katlyn Patterson, Bryan Benz, Andrew Patterson, and Brittney Benz.

She is also survived by five great grandchildren, Emma Muller, Aurora Patterson, Xander Dunmire, Freya Dunmire, and Onyx Dunmire.

She is also survived by her brothers Norman R Colson (Dickey), Larry Colson, Mark Colson, sisters June Kirkland, Danette Hopper, and her twin sister Cora Mathison.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Norman H and Mary E Colson, her brother Billy Colson, and sisters, Mary Ann Gore and Sue Tyler.

She retired after 42 years from Winn-Dixie. She loved doing crafts and making things for other people just to make them smile, but most of all Laura loved spending time with her family and friends that she considered family.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
