Laura B. Roper, of Reading, entered into her eternal rest on Saturday, December 6, 2025. Born in Laurinburg, NC, she was the daughter of the late Lubertha Campbell and Clarence Roper, Sr.
Laura attended Reading High School, and worked at the Berks County Courthouse as a mail clerk. Laura was a faith filled woman and was a devoted mother and grandmother. She found joy in spending time with her family and always studying the Bible to learn more of God's word.
Those cherishing her memory are her children: Eric Miller (Regina), Michele Roper, Carl Britt (Aimee), Valary Alston (Kevin), Phillip Britt (Tammy), and David Britt (Karen); her 14 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. Laura was preceded in death by her son, Allen Britt, Jr., husband of Deidre A. Britt.
Services will be held privately. Laura's final resting place will be in Gethsemane Cemetery.
