Laura Strupp Obituary
Laura was an avid scrapbooker, and enjoyed all types of crafting. She was an active volunteer for food pantry, and the PTO and loved helping at her children's schools. She was also very active in the BoyScouts, each year she could be found fundraising with popcorn. Above all, she was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She will be deeply missed.
A memorial visitation will be held Saturday, October 12, 2024 at Colonial Funeral Home, 591 Ridgeview Dr. McHenry IL from 12:00pm- 2:00pm. A prayer service will be held at 2:00pm. All are welcomed to attend. Interment private, for more information please contact Colonial Funeral Home, 815-385-0063.

I knew Laura when she volunteered at JC Bush Elementary School. I could see that she had many health issues, yet there she was with a great big smile. She would talk lovingly about her family and with a sense of humor. I felt as though I knew each one including Chew Bacca, a dog that she rescued.
When she returned from the hospital one time, I visited her at her house. She was so happy because she was very social and appreciated everything. She worked hard to get better.
I am thankful that I met Laura.
I find comfort in knowing that she had Faith. I am praying for everyone in her family.
