Laura Williams, 82, of Elbow Lake, died Sunday, December 15, 2024 at Lake Region Hospital in Elbow Lake.
Laura Jane Williams was born April 26, 1942 to Mark and Bessie (Canniff) Germain in Stillwater.
On February 5, 1960 she married Nelson "Bud" Williams in Iowa and to this union four children were born. Laura supported and helped Bud operate his construction business along with keeping her home, children, and the farm in order.
Laura enjoyed dancing, crocheting, baking, crossword puzzles, traveling, gardening, making delicious jams and jellies, playing BINGO, putting together puzzles, collecting chickens and meeting with her coffee ladies. She also took pride in orchestrating the most memorable holiday get togethers, including the infamous annual egg hunt with the coveted golden egg! She was a dedicated catholic and was a member of the Eagles and VFW.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Mark and Bessie Germain; husband, Nelson "Bud"; son, Daniel; granddaughter, Tiffany Williams; brother, Bob Germain; mother and father-in-law, Nelson and Josie Williams; and her special friend, Gordon Milbrandt.
Laura is survived by her children, Mark Williams of Elbow Lake, Pam (Dennis) Olson of Erdahl, Angela (Eric Anderson) Williams of Fargo, ND, and Roxane (Dave) Tolle of Farmington, MN; grandchildren, Erin (Tradyn) Foley; Derek (Ashley Domeier) Williams, Crystal (Bret) Thielke, Joseph Cunningham, Alaura Williams, Emily (Jordan) Wick, Jeff and Jill Olson and Renee and Wilson Holland; great-grandchildren, Hudson and Finn Foley, Elijah and Rhea Domeier, Chance Williams, Axel, Luna and Evie Thielke, Adrina Wick, Dayle and Aiden Anderson, Jace and Tesa Olson, Jacob, Jordan, Jerris and Jalin Holland; siblings, Mary Ann Quinn, Mark (Geri) Germain, Carol (Jim) Ron and Jane; many nieces and nephews and special friend, Wayne Skinnemon.

Service: 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 19, 2024 at St. Olaf Catholic Church in Elbow Lake, with visitation one-hour prior to the service at the church.

Interment: St. Loretto Catholic Cemetery, Elbow Lake, MN
