Lauren Nora Hinfey, 24, of East Fallowfield, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully in her sleep in the early morning of Thanksgiving, November 27, 2025.
Born September 13, 2001 in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, she is the daughter of Michael and Lee (nee Korth) Hinfey. In addition to her parents, Lauren is survived by her siblings: Alyson, Jake, Julia, Jenna, and Hayley. She will be missed dearly by all her extended family and friends. Lauren created so many laughable memories and her carefree attitude was endearing to all those she knew. She is the beautiful, loving, dedicated, generous, daughter that makes us all so proud.
Lauren attended Pope John Paul II Regional Catholic Elementary School and then graduated from Avon Grove Charter High School in 2020. Lauren started her professional career at Gormley CPA Services in 2021 as a clerk. Lauren changed her career path in the summer of 2021 to childcare by working at the Learning Experience in Downingtown, Holland Country Day School, Ducklings Early Learning Center in Downingtown, and then on to her current position at On The Go Kids transportation as a Student Aide. To say that Lauren loved working with children was an understatement!
During Lauren’s youth, she was a cheerleader, played soccer, basketball, volleyball, and field hockey. Lauren loved trips to the beach at Sea Isle City, going to boyband and pop star concerts, family parties and holiday events. She was the life of the party. For her pastimes, Lauren adored watching documentaries with her best friend, her mother. She liked to collect Jellycats, Funko Pops, and anything with Disney characters. Lauren was the family logistics coordinator for holiday shopping and would make every holiday feel special. One of Lauren’s greatest joys was spending time with her boyfriend Owen, whom she loved and planned every weekend with for the past 3 years. She adored our family dog Ginger and was dedicated to supporting Ginger in her old age. Lauren lived by the motto, “Our happiness is greatest when we contribute most to the happiness of others.”
Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM, Thursday, December 4, 2025 at St. Anastasia Church, 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, Pennsylvania 19073, followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment at Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield Pennsylvania 19064.
