Laurie's life was marked by her keen sense of humor and her compassion for her animals. She touched the lives of all who knew her and she left a lasting impression on those fortunate enough to share in her journey.
She is preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Patricia Hassett. Her survivors include her sister Deborah French (Charles), niece Charleigh Shook (Brian), and nephews Thomas French, Jason French (Kaitlin), and several great nieces and nephews from Greenville, South Carolina. She is also survived by her lifelong best friend Joann (Scott) residing in New York. There will be a celebration of life at a later date in South Carolina.
