Laurentina (Cordova) Andrade, 89, of Guadalupe Victoria, Durango, was born on February 18, 1936, and passed away peacefully on November 20, 2025, at home in San Antonio, Texas, surrounded by her husband and children. Laurentina was a devoted mother, wife, sister, grandmother, and great-great-grandmother whose love, strength, and warmth will forever be remembered.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Leandro Andrade and Elodia Valdez, and by her siblings Ignacio Andrade, Arnulfo Andrade, Francisca Andrade, Carlotta Andrade, Daniel Andrade, and Joaquin Andrade.

She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Jesus Cordova Lopez, and by her children: Juan Cordova, Lucio Cordova, Graciela Deluna, Reynaldo Cordova, Catalina Cordova, Elodia Muñoz, Jesus Jr. Cordova, and Leticia Cordova. Laurentina also leaves behind 10 grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren, all of whom will forever cherish her stories, her unconditional love, and the memories she created with them.

Mom was a kind and devoted madre who would do anything for her family. She sacrificed everything so her children could have a better life and future. Mi viejita worked long, hard hours raising her familia, and nunca se rajo en la vida-she faced every challenge with dignity and strength. She took great pride in cooking for her viejito and her children, and her famous menudo and tamales-prepared with her unique sazón-brought the entire family together. Those flavors, filled with her love, will never be forgotten or replaced.

She loved watching her novelas, spending time coloring in her adult coloring books, crocheting and knitting, playing lotería, enjoying her paletas de coco, and caring for her many plants. Her remarkable green thumb could bring any plant back to life. She held a deep devotion to La Virgen de Guadalupe, a faith reflected in her compassionate heart and unwavering spirit.

Laurentina's legacy is one of love, generosity, faith, and devotion to her family. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished. Mom loved each of her children in her own unique and special way. Mama siempre la vamos a recordar por su modo de ser.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Rosary Service at 6:00 PM at Camero Funeral Home at City Base, 3706 S. WW White Rd., San Antonio, TX 78222.
