Laurie Lynch Obituary
Laurie graduated from Shenendehowa High School in 1990. While in high school, she was an outstanding basketball player, leading her team to many tournament victories. She obtained her BA in Human Resources from Russell Sage College and was an Associate Relations Specialist and Business Advisor at St. Mary's Hospital in Amsterdam for several years. Laurie enjoyed going to the beach, listening to music, spending time with family, and travelling. She always had great stories to share about her travels to Bermuda, Australia, Japan and other destinations. Laurie's love of basketball continued throughout her life and she occasionally still played a pick-up game when she could. Laurie loved her family deeply and her contagious smile and laugh were her hallmark.
She is survived by her parents David (Patsy) and Diane Lynch, sister Melinda Lynch, brother David Lynch (Mayumi), great aunts Beverly and Genevieve, cousins Johnny (Angela) and Kelly, nephew Kacey and niece Alyssa as well as other aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 9:30am Thursday, October 24 at St. Mary's Church, 167 Milton Avenue, Ballston Spa.

I remember Laurie when she worked for Intermagnetics which is now Philips Medical on Old Niskayuna Rd in Latham. I was a coworker of Laurie's at Intermagnetics. I was surprised at her passing. My condolences to family.
