Laurie was like a second mom to me. Our families spent so much time together and we even lived with the Westerlings while we were building a house back in the late 70s. Laurie was a sweet lady and so comfortable to be around. She was a great cook. We loved her enchiladas. Mom and I enjoyed the visit with Laurie and Sandy this summer. I will always cherish the memory of sweet Leela!
