Laurina Sylvain Obituary

Laurina came to the United States in 1965 and was married to Lionel Sylvain. She worked as a stitcher in local shoe shops, including K & K Shoe, Buce Shoe, and Nike Shoe, before retiring in 1985.
She enjoyed knitting and crocheting and was a dedicated volunteer at the St. Vincent DePaul Society.
She is predeceased by her husband, Lionel, and her son Beniot Sylvain.
She is survived her sister Irma Levasseur and her husband Normand of Chateauguay PQ, three daughters: Rollande Beaulieu and her husband Renald of Lyman, Lynda Beaulieu and her husband Michel of Biddeford, and Diane Stackpole and her husband Chet of Kennebunk and daughter-in-law Linda Sylvain of Virginia; six grandchildren: Brian, France, Christine, Jason, Corey & Kylie; 11 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph Church in Biddeford on Monday, April 14, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
