Lauryn Puthe Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals Inc. on Apr. 21, 2025.
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Lauryn M. Puthe, a cherished mother, fiancée, daughter, and friend. Lauryn departed this world on April 17, 2025, in Camden, at the age of 39, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and an indomitable spirit.
She was born on December 12, 1985, in Red Bank and was raised in Keansburg, Lauryn was the beloved daughter of Christine Hudson of Keansburg, Michael Puthe and life partner Kathleen Quinn of Aberdeen. She was a beacon of joy and kindness from her earliest days, touching the lives of all who knew her with her radiant smile and generous heart.
Lauryn's life was one marked by dedication and passion, both in her professional endeavors and personal pursuits. She worked in the food service industry and then as an Administrative Assistant for a Title Search company.
But it was outside the office where Lauryn's true passions lay. She was a devoted mother to her loving son, William Puthe of Keansburg, who was the center of her universe. Lauryn embraced motherhood with every fiber of her being, and her love for her son was evident to all who witnessed their bond.
Adventure was a constant in Lauryn's life. She relished the thrill of road trips, often seeking out new and exciting destinations. She was known for her adventurous spirit, especially when cliff diving in Ohio at the Quarry, where she showcased her love for life and the great outdoors.
Lauryn's zest for life extended to the simpler pleasures as well. She was an avid movie-goer and cherished the moments spent with friends and family, where laughter and stories were shared.
She leaves behind a bereaved family, including her parents; her son, William; her fiancé, Kevin Kelly of Keansburg; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members who will miss her deeply. Lauryn was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Edward Leonard & Patricia "Patsy" Hayes; her paternal grandparents, Kurt & Joan Puthe; her aunt, Kelly Hudson; and her two cousins, William McBrinn and Austin Puthe.
Lauryn's legacy is one of love and the importance of family. Her presence in our lives was a gift that will continue to inspire and guide us. While we mourn her loss, we also celebrate the remarkable life she led and the countless memories we were fortunate to create with her.
As we say goodbye to Lauryn, we take comfort in knowing that her spirit will forever be a guiding light in our lives. Her love for her family, her passion for adventure, and her unwavering kindness will remain as indelible marks on the world she has left behind.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects and celebrate Lauryn's life on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 from 5-7pm at the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg. A Catholic service will be held on Wednesday evening at 6:30pm also at the funeral home. Cremation was private. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the family for services or for her son William.
