LaVeda Nottingham Obituary
A longtime resident of Guthrie, Oklahoma, LaVeda made her home and built her life in the community she cherished. She was a faithful member of Lakeview Baptist Church of Guthrie, where she worshiped, served, and shared in fellowship with friends who became like family.
LaVeda was preceded in death by her husbands, Gilbert LeFlore and William Nottingham, as well as her beloved granddaughter, Amanda Kukuk.
She leaves behind a loving family who will forever hold her memory close:
• Daughter Novauna Huston and son-in-law Kelly Huston
• Daughter Laura Wessels and son-in-law Gerald Wessels
• Son Gilbert LeFlore and daughter-in-law Crystal LeFlore
LaVeda was blessed with five cherished grandchildren-William McCray, Carrie Crutchfield, Nathaniel Reeves, Leigha Wooley, and Parker LeFlore-and three precious great-grandchildren who brought joy and light to her days.
LaVeda was called home on December 6, 2025, passing peacefully with her family by her side as gentle hymns filled the room. Her legacy of devotion, kindness, and unwavering faith will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
May her memory be a blessing and her spirit forever remembered.
