ALEXANDRIA, IN – Jerry A. Nottingham, 80, entered peace and rest from Community Hospital in Anderson on Friday, October 24, 2025, following complications with cancer.
He was born on June 29, 1945, in Anderson to John and Laura (Silvey) Nottingham and has lived in northern Madison County for most of his lifetime. Jerry was a graduate of Summitville High School-Class of 1964. He retired from production at Delco-Remy in 1996 after 32 years of employment. Following retirement, he worked security at Hoosier Park. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Alexandria. One of his greatest pleasures was RV travel with his wife Linda and for several years they wintered in Yuma, Arizona. While in Arizona, they enjoyed card clubs, shuffleboard and playing Bingo. Jerry was an avid fan of the Cincinnati Reds, the Indianapolis Colts, the Indiana Pacers and Indiana University Basketball. Family time was very important to Jerry, and we are going to miss his keen sense of humor and those funny faces he always made.
