Laverne Phillips Obituary
She was born January 30, 1948, in Harlan, Kentucky to the late Ted and Mary Grills.
Laverne was a sweet lady that enjoyed being a homemaker, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother in her life. Her favorite thing to do was sew. She enjoyed gardening, watching and feeding her birds. She lived by faith and when she passed away it was evident that she was in a better place.
Left to cherish her memories are her children, Roger Phillips, Jr. (Angie Short), Sherry Phillips, Jeri Hall (Henry "Will"), and John Phillips; grandchildren, Travis Phillips, Trenton Phillips, Alexis Phillips, Lenix Phillips, Lydia Phillips, James Phillips, Nikita Tryon, Karla Phillips, Jenita Cottrell, Desiree Phillips, Hank Hall, John Phillips; 13 great grandchildren.
In keeping with Laverne's wishes she will be cremated and there will be no services at this time.
Arrangements by Roach Funeral Home, Gassaway, WV.
