Lavon Francis Lund was born on October 18. 1932 at the home farm in Langhei Township, Pope County, Minnesota, the son of Lee and Christina (Nash) Lund. Lavon Passed away peacefully at his home on February 18, 2026. Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Our Redeemer's Lutheran Church in Benson on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, followed by the funeral service at 2:00 pm. He is survived by his daughter Sheila (LeRoy) Fahje of Alberta, son David (Deb) Lund of Danvers, and son-in-law Ronnie Bjork of Pennock, grandkids Sarah Schmall and 3 great grandchildren of Elbow Lake, Adam (Heather) Fahje and four great grandchildren of Danvers, Jason (Abby) Ebner and three great-grandchildren of Otsego, and Ann Stewart and five great grandchildren of Benson. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Vera, his parents, four brothers, two sisters, and a daughter Connie Bjork. Blessed be his memory
