Estel Lavon Robinson, 82, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 2, 2024 at his home in Trenton, GA.
A funeral service to honor Lavon’s life will be held on Sunday, August 4, 2024 at 5:00 PM in the Trenton Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Tinker and Pastor Jaron Tinker officiating. He will be laid to rest at Oak Lawn Memorial Park following the service.
Family and friends are invited to visit the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00 PM until the service hour.
Lavon loved his family dearly. He also enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and traveling. He worked many years as a Quality Engineer at TVA until retirement. He was a United States Navy veteran and a dedicated member of the Trenton Ministry Center.
Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Doug (Kim) Robinson and Shane Robinson; sisters, Diane Smith and Rovine (Clayton) Welden; brother Keith Robinson; and grandsons, Austin and Dallas Robinson. He also leaves behind numerous other family members and friends.
Lavon was preceded in death by his wife Mary Sue Robinson; his parents Estel and Mary Louise Holder Robinson; and his sister Deloris Ables.
May he rest in peace as those who knew him continue to hold him dearly in their hearts.
