Lavonne K. Minardo, 71, passed away April 21st, 2025. She was born April 15th, 1954, in Beech Grove, to parents Arthur and Agnes (Stokes) Haley.
Lavonne grew up in Indianapolis and graduated from Harry E Woods High School.
A very hard worker, Lavonne worked for McDonalds for many years. Later, she worked at Herff Jones, making maps and globes, for over 18 years until she retired.
Lavonnne was a loving woman with a huge heart. She enjoyed gardening and tending to her flower beds, and she was an excellent cook. Family was everything for Lavonne. She was a devoted mom, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Lavonne is survived by her children Gary (Dana) Minardo, Christina (Randall) Chaffin, and Laura Rogers; grandchildren Brandy, Amanda, Myranda, Brian, Matthew, Randall, Kalynn, Alayna, and CJ; eleven great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Lavonne is preceded in death by her siblings Arthur, Patricia, Lillian, Clifford, Rebecca, Steven, David, Angela.
Visitation for Lavonne will be Saturday April 26th, at Flanner Buchanan Memorial Park, from 9-11am. Her service will begin at 11am. She will be laid to rest at Memorial Park Cemetery.
