In loving memory of Frank L. Minardo
Frank, age 82, passed away peacefully on 1/27/25. Born in Indianapolis, IN he was the beloved child of Beulah (Minardo) Wiggs and Frank Minardo. He attended Manual High School, University of Indianapolis and the University of Wisconsin where he graduated with honors from the Bank Administration Institute of Banking. Frank embarked on a career in banking that spanned 38 years. He became a respected leader as he progressed through his various roles beginning in the Audit Division and working his way thru the Financial Control, Installment Loan and Corporate Security Investigation Divisions. He was admired by colleagues for his work ethic and integrity. He also had been an active member of the community where he previously served as Chairman of the St. Jude Parish Council, Chairman of the St Jude Financing Committee, CYO Senior Basketball Coach, Board Member of Sonith Corporation and Special Deputy within the Marion County Sheriff's Department. He took great pride in his work/volunteer opportunities and cherished the friendships he made along the way. Above all, Frank was devoted to his family. Married to Carolynn (Heidbreder) for 61 years. They built a life centered around love, laughter, travel and devotion. Frank was the proud father of his three children and their families, Bob and Debbie Minardo, Lisa Minardo and Paul McGinnis, and Cary Minardo, that includes 6 grandsons and 4 great grandchildren with another one on the way- all of whom he loved and took great pride in. At the family's request, the funeral services will be private. The family appreciates your thoughts and prayers during this time. Frank will be remembered as a loving family man, loyal friend and dedicated professional. His legacy will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know and love him.
