Beverly Ann Insko

Beverly "Bev" Ann Insko, 83, went to be with her Lord & Savior on Sunday, March 1, 2026 while at her home in Louisville, Kentucky.

Bev was born September 30, 1942 in New Albany, Indiana, and she lived in faithful service to her family, church, and community. She was a loyal wife, loving mother of two sons she adored, and cherished Nana of four grandchildren.

Bev was a long-time member and 40-year treasurer of Larchmont Church of God. She also worked many years as a financial bookkeeper for her father's plumbing business, 5 years part-time for Jefferson Public Schools (JCPS), and 15 years as an attendance clerk for Louisville Male High School.

Bev was a 1960 graduate of DuPont Manual High School. She was also adopted into the Male High School Alumni Association for her volunteer service to the school, which included PTSA Board Member, PTSA Treasurer, and 4 years in the Counseling Office. Earlier she served as PTSA President for Gutermuth Elementary School.

Bev was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Wilma (Duechars) Lee, and brother, Jeffrey Lee.

Bev is survived by her devoted husband of 63 years, Wayne Insko; her sons, Darren Insko (Angie) and Brian Insko (Tracy); and her grandchildren, Sarah Frie (Colin), Samuel Insko, Braden Insko, and Brennan Insko.

A service to celebrate Bev's life will be held at 12 pm on Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road followed by entombment in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will also be held from 3-7 pm on Monday, March 23, 2026 at Fern Creek Funeral Home and after 11am on Tuesday prior to the service.
