Heaven has gained another precious angel. LaWanda "Wanda" McRae Williams went to be with our Lord on Sunday, August 20, 2023. She was born to Coleman Earl Morris and Drucilla Mae Riddle Morris on January 17,1937 in Dallas,Texas.
She was married to Charles K. McRae for over 35 years and had four children and to Bobby E. Williams for over 32 years. She retired from Sears & Roebuck after 25 years and loved staying up late to read her favorite book or playing cards with her family and friends. She was perfectly happy just staying home.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Jerry Morris, sister Lorraine Bennett, husband Charles K. McRae, daughter Niki L. Jones, son-in-law Bobby L. Jones and grandson Lukas R.C. McKee.
Wanda is survived by her husband Bobby E. Williams, Mesquite,Tx; son Kip McRae and daughter-in-law Robin, Bullard, Tx; son Scott McRae and daughter-in-law Mindy, Farmers Branch, Tx; daughter Jill McRae McKee and son-in-law Jim, Mabank,Tx; stepson Bobby Williams and daughter-in-law Sonya, Arlington,Tx; stepson Dondi Williams and daughter-in-law Sherri, Waxahachie, Tx; over 14 grandchildren, over 27 great-grandchildren and many other numerous family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, please send a donation in her name to St. Judes, The American Kidney fund or your choice of charity.
