He frequented Sunday brunch at the American Legion with family and friends, Holidays at his mom's house in Dundee. His favorite things to do were collecting antique cars, going to car shows, dancing, roller skating, going to thrift stores and Gary's You Pull It for good finds. He loved to putter in the garage. He was the chief bell ringer at Grant's races standing in the middle of the street rooting everyone on. After retirement, he would be working on his apartments with Alonzo Barnes taking care of his tenants on Henry Street in Binghamton.
Larry attended Lester Baptist Church in Windsor with Milly where they loved to come together to worship with friends. He loved Pastor Russ and was very impressed with his accordion playing.
