BRIGHT---Mr. Lawrence Steven Bright, age 63 of Jacksonville, FL passed away on Thursday November 6, 2025. Larry was born July 10, 1962 in Bristol, PA, son of Howard Bright and Laura Smith Bright.
At a young age Larry would join the United States Armed Forces, first the U.S. Army for 3 years and then retiring from the U.S. Navy following 23 years of distinguished service. Larry loved old war movies, classic rock, scuba diving, camping, and time at the ocean. He was a long time Philadelphia Eagles fan and is remembered for his cooking skill. He will be deeply missed by all. In addition to his parents, Larry was predeceased by his brothers Bud and Gary Bright. He is survived by his loving wife Merlie; his daughter Michelle Bright; son Larry Bright, Jr.; grandsons Kylo and Kayden; and his brother Pat Bright; also many other loving family members and friends.
