Lawrence Chamness Obituary
He was born on November 18, 1939, in Chicago, Illinois to Harold and Dolores (Peifer) Chamness. He married Carol Lungren on October 4, 1969. She preceded him in death on March 9, 2011.
Larry was a proud US Army Veteran and worked as a Police Officer for the Village of Huntley. Larry was exceptionally outgoing and treated everyone like his best friend. He spent much of his free time socializing with friends (new and old) over coffee. Above all, he loved spending time with his family.
Larry is survived by his children, Rebecca (Rich Cooley) Nellessen, and Troy (Ellie) Chamness; his siblings, Michelle and Jerome; two grandchildren, and one great-grandchild; all of whom will miss him very much.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
