Lawrence "Larry" Farley

Lawrence "Larry" Farley, age 85, passed away peacefully on March 29, 2026.

Beloved husband of nearly 60 years to the late Lillian (née Scarl) Farley. Loving father of Alan (Karen) Farley, Cherie (Bob) Niznick, and Gail (Daniel) Smith. Devoted Grandpa to Brian, Rachel, Robert, Kristy (Evan), Declan, and Meridith, and proud Great-Pop to Arietta, Everly, and Elsie. Cherished brother of Kenny (Donna) Farley, Karen Macpherson, and Anne Marie Grossman. Loving uncle to many, and a devoted dog dad to Brody.

Larry worked for U.S. Steel for over 25 years as a steel mill worker. He was a man of many passions and interests, finding great joy in the outdoors through hunting, boating, and fishing. An avid golfer, he even made custom golf clubs for family members. Larry also enjoyed photography and CB radios and was a proud and active member of the Medina Bird Club, where fellow members often sought his advice, especially regarding firearms. He had a deep passion for firearms and took great pride in his skill and craftsmanship, often found building and working on guns and rifles. Above all, Larry was a devoted family man and shared an inseparable bond with his beloved Yorkie Poo.

A visitation for Larry will be held on Monday, April 6, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at Busch Funeral Home, 7501 Ridge Road, Parma, Ohio 44129. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at 10:00 AM at St. Francis de Sales Church, 3434 George Avenue, Parma, Ohio 44134. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
