Lawrence Kalb Obituary
Passed away August 4, 2024 at age 93. He is predeceased by wives Judith (Schenk) Kalb, and Margaret (Marshall Cleere) Kalb, also by daughter Mariann Cleere. Survived by his daughters, Julie DiPasquale, Susan Cleere and Kathleen (Dave) Cizenski, sons, Dr Robert (MarLisa) Kalb, Matthew (Patricia) Cleere, David (Theresa) Kalb, Frank (Ruth) Cleere, and David (Marny) Cleere, also 16 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren, sister-in-law Joyce (Dwyer) Shields, all the Schenk families and cherished neighbors Fred and Linda Wright.
Larry served in the marine corp during the Korean conflict from 1952-1954.
He was a graduate of Aquinas Institute and a 37 year retiree of Rochester Telephone Company.
Calling hours will be held 4-7pm Thursday August 8, 2024 at Farrell-Ryan Funeral & Cremation Services 777 Long Pond Road. Funeral mass 10AM Friday August 9, 2024 at St. John the Evangelist Church (2400 West Ridge Road).
In lieu of flowers, those wishing, may make contributions to Aquinas Inst. 1127 Dewey Ave, Rochester, NY 14613, or Kevin Guest House 782 Ellicott St. Buffalo, NY 14203.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff & many friends at the Village at Unity and caregivers from Home Instead, Rochester Regional Health Homecare and Hospice.
